UMBC, state partner to help lure international cyber firms to Maryland

University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s bwtech Research & Technology Park is partnering with the state Department of Commerce to create an international cybersecurity center that will help lure foreign cyber companies to establish a presence in Maryland.

Following a successful pilot of a cyber company exchange program with the Netherlands, the new iCyberCenter@bwtech will be designed to help firms from the United Kingdom and other ally nations “land” and establish a U.S. presence in Maryland.
