Little Italy’s new Boston’s sports bar gets liquor license OK

Little Italy’s newest eatery Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar received approval for a license to sell beer, wine and hard liquor Thursday at the city’s liquor board hearing.

The restaurant opened its doors June 12 in the former location of Velleggia’s Restaurant at 819 E. Pratt St. It is the first Baltimore City location for the Canada-based chain, but the third in Maryland with restaurants in St. Charles and Abingdon.
