City, Caves Valley to look at removing two ramps on the ‘Highway to Nowhere’ near Metro West complex

A new study will look at the possibility of removing two ramps on U.S. Route 40 near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near the Metro West complex to open up the space for potential retail development.

The study, funded by the city and developer Caves Valley Partners, will look at the potential traffic impact of removing both the east and westbound ramps of U.S. Route 40 that connect to West Mulberry and West Franklin streets.
