Maryland venture capital fundraising rises to $90M in second quarter

ZeroFox’s $20 million capital raise led the way as Maryland companies raised $90 million from venture capitalists in the second quarter, an 82 percent increase from the prior year.

There were 16 deals in the second quarter, up from 12 a year ago but down from 20 in the first quarter, according to the PwC/CB Insights MoneyTree Report released Wednesday.
