Mayor Catherine Pugh said she is feeling confident the city and state can work together to reduce violence in Baltimore after she met with Gov. Larry Hogan earlier this week.
Pugh, who requested the sit-down with Hogan, said she and the governor “agreed that we should be collaborating.”
The Monday meeting came as Baltimore’s murder rate continues to climb. To date, 183 people have been killed in the city this year, including 31 in the past 30 days.
