Auction of ‘House of Cards’ home in Bolton Hill is put on hold

The auction for the “House of Cards” home in Bolton Hill set for Thursday has been delayed until the fall.

Jared Block of Alex Cooper Auctioneers said that the owners of the famous facade on 1609 Park Ave. had to leave town unexpectedly and would not be able to attend.

The auction will now likely take place in September if the house isn’t sold before then. A starting bid of $500,000 had been set.
