Enterprise Homes acquires Shelter Group’s affordable housing portfolio

Enterprise Homes has closed on its acquisition of the Shelter Group’s affordable housing properties in the mid-Atlantic.

The 4,153 apartments are located in 43 properties financed through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, a federal program for creating and preserving affordable housing.

Terms of the deal between Columbia-based Enterprise and Baltimore-based the Shelter Group were not disclosed.
