Natty Boh Gear to close in Fells Point after 12 years in business

Natty Boh Gear, a Fells Point staple for clothing and accessories emblazoned with Baltimoreans’ beloved one-eyed beer mascot, will close at the end of 2017 after 12 years in business.

Owner Todd Unger said the store at 1624 Thames St. will shut its doors Sunday afternoon.

Unger said his business has struggled with weak sales since 2015, when unrest in the city made national headlines after the death of Freddie Gray.
