The Boathouse Canton closes after 4.5 years

The Boathouse Canton, a waterfront restaurant known for its expansive outdoor space, has closed.

A sign posted on the Boathouse’s door announced the closure, and an employee who answered the phone at the restaurant Wednesday confirmed the closing was permanent but declined to provide any additional information. Cyber business veteran’s startup Attila Security raises $2.5 million

A new cyber firm Attila Security Inc. announced it has closed a $2.5 million seed round of funding led by DataTribe, a Fulton firm that has made a name for itself advising and investing in Maryland cybersecurity startups.

Bull City Venture Partners, an early stage technology fund in Durham, North Carolina, and Maryland Technology Development Corp. also participated in the round. The company plans to use the funds to ramp up sales and marketing and continue product development.
